"In and out in 40 minutes"

About: Warrington Hospital

Excellent experience. My son had sprained his ankle and I took him to A&E on a Sunday afternoon to make sure it wasn't broken as he was in a lot of pain. He was checked in and assessed by a very chatty sister and then a doctor. He was sent for x-ray and reviewed within minutes. Advice given and all done and dusted within 40 minutes. All the staff were professional and efficient. Except one. The clerk on the "welcome" desk was not very welcoming. We had stood waiting for 5 minutes without eye contact or a 'won't be a min' whilst she finished off typing. I think she needs a lesson in customer service as it comes across very rude and uncaring and this is the first impression for all patients. Otherwise a faultless experience.
