"waiting times at Norwich Community Hospital"

About: Norwich Community Hospital

(as the patient),

I have recently had to cancel my appointment for a clinic at this hospital (providing a weeks notice in advance) due to unforeseen circumstances. Following a procedure last year I was told to wait a certain number of weeks to allow this to have an effect. I have been told that the earliest appointment that can now be offered to me is 4 and a half months away (although I can be placed on a cancellation list but not guaranteed there will be a cancellation slot available). Given that I am still symptomatic and that this appointment is meant to be a follow up to see the results of my last procedure I am astounded! Either there are not enough clinics or the service is overworked/understaffed.
