"Positive Experience at CAMHS"

About: Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services – Community(County)

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

When asked about the CAMHS services, this was the response from a parent/carer of a service user;

"To get out initial appointment took us a long time, but once we were seen by CAMHS, it has been a positive experience.

Im really pleased with everything - the staff are taking the time to get to know and understand my son. "

We do apoologise for the initial wait for the appointment. We have experienced a significant increase in demand for our services and we are working with senior managers and commisioners in order to address this and be as accessible as possible for young people and families.

I am really pleased to hear that you and your son have had a positive experience now you have been seen within CAMHS and wish you both all the best for a continued positive recovery journey with CAMHS
