My father was admitted to the Royal Hallamshie Hospital last Sunday evening after suffering what we initially thought was a minor stroke. It turned out that he had a haematoma on his brain and it was decided to operate to relieve the pressure and to remove the clot. I live in South Africa and was obviously extremely concerned about his well being. I wanted to fly out to the UK immediately and spoke to a sister and a staff nurse on N2 to try and find out as much as I could about what the op would entail. They were nothing short of amazing and were both extremely kind and showed a great deal of compassion. I would like to take this opportunity of thanking all of the staff on N2 for taking such good care of my father and also for taking the time to speak to a very worried daughter who was thousands of miles away. Kind regards.
"Thank you"
