"Improvement more recently."

About: University Hospital Aintree

I bring my elderly mother in hospital to A and E on a fairly regular basis. She has mobility problems. Up until recently I have dreaded coming in to accident and emergency at Fazakerly hospital as in the past have not had good experiences. On the last few occasions it has been greatly improved. The last one being yesterday. The whole team were exceptional in their care and great respect given to both my mother and myself. Then only real issue is the parking not just visiting but more so picking someone up when discharged. How are you supposed to manage a wheelchair and all their belongings when the car is often parked miles away as the multi storey is full. Is there a designated place for these pick ups mum has a mobility badge but the places are always full. The nurses say there isn't. Maybe that needs looking at.

We're very pleased to read that you feel our A&E department has improved and that our teams provided such good care for your mother. We will pass on your concerns about parking to our Estates team. Thank you.
