Just a very big thank you to every one who nursed me on Medical HDU & Medical C5. Popping my pills, feeding and washing me and introducing me to the delights of the bed pan, even helping me to breath again. In every way they were brilliant. To the Doctors & the Consultants you were superb in your diagnoses and subsequent treatment, I can only thank you all for listening to me and for easing my concerns for my future. All of the nurses, the nursing assistants were great also; they kept me feeling human when they did their part in feeding me and toileting me and keeping me clean and in fluffy sheets too!. Kitchen staff I must also thank for the good food they served, To my physiotherapist who helped me through my pain barrier to get back on my feet ands walk again, I sincerely Thank You. Christmas day... New Year 16 days in all, 14 days in Medical HDU

Thank you, Eric, for letting us know in such detail about your experience of our Medical High Dependency Unit and ward C5. We know that being in hospital for a long period can be a difficult for our patients, especially during the festive period, so it is fantastic to hear our nursing staff kept your spirits up and looked after you so well during your stay. We will pass your feedback to the doctors and nurses on both MHDU and C5, as well as our catering and physiotherapy departments.
