"Waiting list fiasco"

My daughter was referred by her dentist to have braces after the removal of several teeth at Kingsmill Hospital. The operation and staff for the removal were lovely. She then went on the waiting list in 2009! I have been phoning on and off and so has our dentist for the past 4 years and was told everytime shes still on waiting just there is a backlog. At Christmas we had a phone call to see if we still wanted treatment as a new dentist was being employed to catch up with the backlog. We received a letter this week (January 2014) to say cannot get a new dentist you will now be referred to The Queens Medical Centre. Nearly 5 years this has been going on. I don't know about £320 million invested its probably been invested in all the wrong places.
