"Accident and Emergency experience"

About: Kettering General Hospital

I was involved in a vehicle accident on the A5199 last Saturday 15.30hrs. The paramedics were first class, made me feel comfortable and fully explained all tests. They discovered a heart block (not accident related) which was later confirmed by the cardiology unit. Reception at the Hospital was excellent. Quickly assessed and my ECG carried out by a most competent female assistant. Once in the Cardiology unit, from the attending nursing assistant who had a great sense of humour and 'cold' hands, to the doctor on duty and the cardiologist , who explained the action that I should take. He produced a letter for my doctor, which I have acted upon and which may result in an unexpected outcome. Thank you to you all just keep doing what you are doing, it worked for me. The members of my family were also kindly dealt with and were equally impressed. Kindest regards
