"Fantastic treatment"

About: Cheltenham General Hospital

After a little chest pain on a Monday morning and a visit to the GP on Tuesday I found myself in the Acute Assessment Ward in Cheltenham Hospital awaiting the results of various blood tests. Within hours I was settled into the ward and cossetted until I could be fitted in on the angioplasty lists. Admittedly this did take a few days but I was transferred to the Cardiac ward to await the procedute. Everyone on that ward was absolutely fantastic. I was treated with dignity and looked after by an organised and friendly team of doctors and nurses until I was treated. Nothing was too much trouble for these people and I am very grateful for their care.

It's great to hear that you received such a high standard of care from our staff in the Cardiac Ward and we will happily pass your comments on to them. We hope you are now recovering well at home and wish you all the best for the future. Best wishes The team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
