(as a relative),

My brother has special needs and has refused to visit a dentist for 50 years. He has required extensive treatment over the past few months and has received excellent care and attention from every member of staff.

It is wonderful to hear how the excellent care and attention shown to your brother has enabled him to attend and receive treatment for the first time in 50 years.
