"Attendance at East Surrey A and E"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

afteer phoning 111 I was advised I needed to attend hospital and they sent an ambulance.

I was left in reception in a wheelchair and advised by the paramedic someone would speak to me soon. However the wheel chair was one that I could not move, I was unable to attract any staff attention and I was kept approximately in excess of 3 hours with no one checking on me.

I had not eaten or drank anything before attending and was feeling uncomfortable.

I was triaged, which seemed a waste of time, as the paramedics had been more thorough. Again I was advised I would be seen "soon" I accept the Doctor saw more not long after and was thorough. But the waiting situation should be improved.

I was not given a questionnaire and having received a letter tried to access the site www. yourcarematters-2. co. uk but cannot do so.

What is wrong with this site?
