"Thornton Ward Bradgate Mental Healthcare Unit."

My Recent Stay at Thornton Ward. I would just like to drop you a line to say how grateful I was for the care and attention that I received during my recent stay at your unit. I found the staff to be courteous, professional, giving and perhaps most importantly for me, non-judgemental. It was also a huge relief to finally receive the formal clinical diagnosis of ‘Mixed Anxiety and Depressive Disorder, as I have known for years that something was not quite right in the old ‘noddle’. I also found the stay in your unit to be of huge benefit to me, not only from the Detox point of view, but also for the humour of the staff and the many friends I have made, from all walks of life, and whose company was invaluable in terms us being in ‘similar’ boats. It was also extremely noticeable, to me at least, that there was an enormous ‘bonhomie’ between patients and as a result of this, a great deal of ‘inter-patient’ therapy exists so to speak, which I found really enjoyable. Enclosed with this letter is a box of Thornton’s Goodies, which I hope will be big enough so that everyone gets at least one. Enjoy!!
