"Visit to A&E for a Head Injury after a fall"

About: The Whittington Hospital

I was treated for a head injury in A&E. I realise that I was lucky that it was not at a busy time; I was seen in 20 minutes and by a doctor in about half an hour and I was out in an hour, having been checked, treated for the pain and the wound and been given an anti-Tetanus injection. I was given clear verbal and written instructions on how to proceed and what sympoms I might experience. I was satisfied with all aspects of my treatment.
