"Electric reclining armchair"

About: Epsom Hospital

I recently had to spend all night in Epsom A&E as there were no available beds in the wards until the next day. I am elderly and disabled with an ongoing back problem which would have made it very painful and impossible for me to spend all the night on a trolley or normal bed. I asked a member of staff if I could at least have a normal chair to sit in all night. Shortly after two men brought me not just a chair, but an electric reclining armchair. I couldn't believe my luck. I even managed to get a few short spells of sleep. My only regret is that I do not know who was responsible for making the decision to give me the armchair. If the person concerned reads this I would just like to thank them from the bottom of my heart. I am so grateful.
