"Crisis Team West Park Darlington"

About: Tees, Esk And Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust / Adult mental health

(as the patient),

After my partner made a doctor's appointment, as I was feeling really low in mood and felt really numb inside. Waited at my home for the crisis team to contact me, arranged for a taxi, to pick me up from my home to take me to the hospital.

After waiting half hour to an hour I was seen. I was on my own, as couldn't find a baby sitter for our daughter. The two members of that team did not listen to me properly, made me out to be an attention seeker.

I became very upset and angry at them, that I ran out of the room, out of the hospital and just ran. Eventually, collapsed on the pavement in tears. After my partner phoned and put in a complaint, I was seen again by other team members.
