About: Pinderfields General Hospital

Considering this is a brand new hospital the parking spaces provided is pathetic, I and many other have spent hours driving round the site trying to get a parking space, so that they can attend their appointment, if you do not want to be late then I would suggest you allow an extra hour before your appointment to find a parking space, especially in the afternoon.

The number of parking spaces is regulated by the local authority and the number of spaces available currently is greater than those provided at the old hospital. We understand that this can cause frustration and the Trust has worked with Arriva, resulting in the improvement of public transport links (the Pinderfields shuttle). In addition, the Trust provides a free shuttle bus service between our 3 hospital sites, details of which are on the Trust website.
