Ophthalmology: I was given an appointment on Sunday morning, 5th January, after arriving at A&E at tea time on Saturday 4th. I saw the Consultant the following Tuesday and cannot praise, too highly, the medical staff who treated me. It seems to be easy to criticise the NHS and A&E but in my recent experience the treatment was outstanding. I did have to wait at A&E but this was a minor inconvenience in relation to the quality of care which I received. Thank you
