About: Pilgrim Hospital

As a hospital that is fairly isolated other than by car, parking is a joke at this hospital - there was a huge wait for parking spaces today causing a knock on delay in appointments. Easy to fix if the car parl charges were spent on improved parking.

We acknowledge the problem with parking at the hospital and are actively seeking solutions. We apologise for any inconvenience experienced at particularly busy times and always offer the opportunity for patients to discuss their experience directly with the Trust.

We do review parking on a regular basis at all our hospitals. The trust has invested £400,000 in additional car parking facilities at Pilgrim Hospital over the last year, creating over 200 additional spaces, a further initiative is underway for another 50 spaces. We have also recently introduced a cycle to work scheme which will further increase the spaces available to patients, visitors and staff.
