"Third world treatment"

My daughter aged twenty-nine was admitted by ambulance some eleven days ago with slight fits, never had any history of such. Had MRI and CAT scan with negative result. Kept there for eight days in a surgical ward and has not seen a neurologist as one not present at this hospital, waited up to four hours at times for pain meds for back problem still not sorted in ten months. Discharged on Friday to us with her eight and nine year old children also having to stay with us as she is a single parent. Severe fitting on the next day for twenty minuets, sick,choking, rigours and inner cheek bite, ambulance called taken to Carlisle hospital, stop on way for another fit, yet another fit in A & E all ended with drugs every time. Night in medical ward, medical consultant discharged her next day to go home alone with children, no drugs and with the advice if she fits again just to "ride through it". She is back with us now. Advice from NHS 24 nurse to ring 999 if fits last for more than three minuets, this is what will happen and as I tried the other day to get her to Borders hospital. A dog would get better treatment at the vet and I would not have been paying them for the last forty five years. Still no neurologist, no idea what's up, but alright it seems to carry on as normal, no advice as if to keep on driving, very scary state of affairs.
