"Getting ill in hospital "

About: Victoria Hospital / Respiratory Medicine

(as the patient),

I was taking part in a sleep study and was thoroughly looking forward to a night away from home. I had my book and planned to go to costa coffee for breakfast the following morning. All was going well until midnight when I started being violently sick between bouts of uncontrollable diarrhoea. This lasted for six hours so very little sleep was had. Luckily I was in a side room so I didn't disturb anyone and hopefully didn't pass it on to anyone else. The sleep study finished and I was sent home when unfortunately my poor husband and son caught the bug from me. An utterly miserable time was had by the whole family.
