What I liked

I was in the orthopedic dept for my 3rd go of surgery on my left knee I had had an exploratory surgery 5 years ago which helped a great deal then unfortunatly over the course of time I needed my knee re built had metal plate ans screws placed in .I cannot fault the consultant and his team of staff who have always looked after me. had to have more surgery in Dec 2007 to remove a screw and again the whole team even down to the recovery room staff and porters were great. Even though I live in Surrey now I would not change my Surgeon for anything he has always understood and listened to my needs and we have worked a solution out.

What could be improved

Cleanliness on ward could have been better blood on curtains bit off putting as you dont know how long they been up there uncleaned . I know i had 1 stay in there for 3 weeks and were not changed at any point.
