"collapsed at Manchester Airport"

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

After collapsing at Manchester Airportand and having been examined by their paramedic I was taken by emergency ambulance to Wythenshawe A@E department. I was examined within five miutes of arrival by a doctor and over the next 6 hours I was examined by a futher two doctors. I had blood tests and ECGs during this time and was constantly assessed by them and their excellent nursing staff. The doctors fully explained what they thought my problem was, what had caused it and future treatment. The nurses brought my wife several cups of coffee and even arranged for a letter for my travel insurance company. On leaving the nurse who we had seen the most came to us and wished us well. I would also like to mention the paramedic at the airport, and the ambulance staff as they were friendly, efficient and calming. Full marks to everyone.
