"Donnington Dermatology Clinic referral by TRAQS"

About: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital / Dermatology Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

8 days after visiting my Doctor, had letter from TRAQS saying I was referred to Donnington. 5 days later had a letter which I found somewhat confusing, but phoned the Clinic who explained the process which was for the consultant to assess the doctors report and either call me in or refer back to my doctor.

4 days later had another letter with a consultation appointment. All this happened within 3 weeks, which I find incredible considering Christmas and New Year were within that time.

At the consultation, everything was explained comprehensively, and I am now awaiting for an appointment for treatment.

The receptionist thanked me for my query on the original letter from the Clinic, an said she would change her letter.

TRAQS will always send a letter to the patient in order to confirm the service/clinic that will be dealing with their referral. We do not have any responsibility for the letters that are sent out by these services/clinics.
