I first attended the minor injuries unit at Wharfedale hospital (04 01 2014) but was referred to the LGI as the injury was more severe than they could accommodate. I was treated courteously and with respect from the first minute I attended the LGI until the minute I left. When I saw the Doctor in A and E he decided that my injury was so serious that he would have to request assistance from a more specialised colleage. She was called from Ward 23 where I was treated later. The surgeon ( a woman who'se name sadly escapes me) was efficient and thorough. I was most impressed by her businesslike, yet sympathetic approach and the speed , thoroughness and experience she demonstrated. Thank you all so much. The stitches she so expertly applied were removed at my GP's surgery two days ago and it hardly seems to appear that I was involved in an accident seven days ago. Again thank you and well done
