"Appalling Service at emergency helpdesk."

About: King George Hospital

First pregnancy within the first ten weeks. Needed an assessment to check why bleeding was occurring and to ensure it's not an ectopic pregnancy due to some symptoms. Was refused point blank told we don't deal with any pregnancy issues. Me and my wife its our first pregnancy we are scared nervous and confused and we thought did not want to waste anymore time or say anything else but drove all the way to royal London hospital which is absolutely fantastic. I will be contacting PALs to forward a complaint when my wife has been booked to have our child at King George why we got refused embarrassed, it's a hospital not just a business like all these trusts are becoming. Really upsetting what NHS has become from what it use to be. Every hospital has a maternity and gynecology department. I hope noone else experiences the horrid service but iI will be changing hospital definitely.

Our labour ward at King George Hospital closed early last year, although we do still offer antenatal services on site. We also have an early pregnancy assessment unit at Queen’s Hospital.
