"Consultants appointment"

I just wanted to write a quick review of my experience today at Bishop Auckland hospital. I had an appointment with a consultant in the orthopaedic department after being referred by my doctor. Before I saw the consultant a very helpful nurse sent me straight to xray (saving time I felt, rather than speaking to the consultant then being sent to xray and back to the consultant, as what usually happens). This didn't take too long, the staff in xray were pretty quick and I was back waiting to see the consultant within 20mins. The same very helpful nurse told me there would be a short wait (and it was a short wait) to see the consultant as there were a couple of people before me. She checked I was ok and updated me on how long it would be every time she walked past. My consultant was very thorough I thought and talked me through my options. The nurse assisting in the appointment was also very helpful and nice. The whole thing went smoothly, pretty quickly and all of the staff I came across were brilliant.
