"The media have it wrong!"

About: Stafford Hospital

Having a relative been rushed there and reading about the hospital in the news recently, admittedly i was slightly sceptical about the hospitals ability at the start so i came in with a closed mind. How wrong i and especially the media were..... This hospital was exceptional. Ignore whatever you read in any news article. The staff are super dedicated and friendly and patients are in exceptional hands. Not only was my narrow, closed mind opened, but also transformed it! From now on if i ever need to go to a hospital, stafford is my primary option! From the start, the staff were super helpful helping me find my relative, and when they walked me to the appropriate bed (instead of giving me directions like other hospitals) there were a team of doctors an nurses taking fantastic care of my fiancee. They were extremely understanding to the pain she was in and how she was feeling, the doctor and nurses would always check on us to make sure everything was fine, they assigned her medicines to make her feel better when she was ill and prescribed us medicine, but gave us some great advice for the future! It struck me how well the unit worked as a team, how it was extremely centred around patient care, the skills of all the staff ( they definitely knew their stuff) and how smooth the experience was! Extremely impressed! Well done! From a transformed and extremely satisfied customer!
