"visiting A&E with a dislocated shoulder"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I had the misfortune to dislocate my shoulder at 10 pm on a Saturday night, I have never experienced pain like it before, my son took me to Redhill

hospital for treatment the care that I received there was outstanding from the word go.

I was treated with nothing but kindness and sympathy. Both the nurses and the doctor were reassuring in their manner. Although the A & E dept was extremely busy and I had to wait for a while I was given pain killers and checked on a regular basis until the shoulder could be put back. I cannot praise the treatment I received enough.
