"Assessment with psychiatric nurse"

Was disgusted and upset with the overall experience of the psychiatric nurse I met with this week. She was rude, condescending, with no empathy or sympathy. I felt that she was implying that I was not doing enough to get better myself and that she could not be bothered to be there. She did not introduce herself to the relative I had bought with me. I found the whole experience very distressing and it did more harm than good. I was very upset and crying a lot during the assessment and she did not even offer me a tissue from the box that was directly in front of her on the table.
