"response and care received"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust

(as the patient),

26th November 2013 inc no. 7398544

I woke in extreme pain and could not move my head at all. Eventually I called 999 as I had in effect gone into total spasm which was very frightening both to me[70] and my husband[82] The phone response was excellent and the ambulance was here while I was still answering questions on the phone. The paramedics were brilliant and explained I had acute torticollas[wry neck] They managed to get me upright, administered pain relief and gave me huge reassurance. I felt awful that I had had to call them out at all as I am usually very self sufficient. My total praise to your service and thank you so much. I am now fine. ,
