"Ward 2"

About: North Tyneside General Hospital

My 94 year old mother who suffers from dementia has recently been a patient on this ward. I was very impressed by the kindness and patience of all the staff. The ward was very clean at all times and the food was excellent. The staff took into consideration the fact that I do not live locally and were flexible and accommodating about visiting times.

Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you so much for your very kind words and reflections on the care your mother received from the team on ward 2 at North Tyneside Hospital. I can understand how living out of the area must be difficult for you when your mother is in hospital. I do hope that knowing that she was receiving care that was kind and compassionate, in a clean and supportive environment gave you reassurance and peace of mind that you needed.

I know your words will mean a great deal to the team I will make sure that they have the opportunity to read them.

With all best wishes to you and your Mum,

Annie
