Was admitted into AAU had an MRI scan that showed a bulging disk in my back, was then taken to ward 11, had 6 failed attempts at a lumber puncture which resulted in the specialist registrar saying its my fault it has failed you are to restless. My mother received a call asking how my back was from somebody in the orthopedic department whilst I was still in hospital, shows no communication. Was in hospital a week after the failed attempts of a lumbar puncture the following day a doctor came to my bed and said you didn't need the procedure doing we are now discharging you. Now after 4 months I am still not rectified and have made myself worse I have only jus been referred to physiotherapy and I have numbness in both my legs from belly button down. delays in diagnosis has brought all of this on and it is an absolute joke. I have paid to go private to visiting the neurologist who has agreed its ridiculous. I was prescribed tramadol and solphadol at the same rime which is not allowed its just appalling. I wouldn't ever visit this hospital unless its an absolute emergency.
