"Poor care"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

I have visited a family relative three times in the last three days. How woeful is the attention given to patients left in an isolation ward. Wrong prescribing, poor attention/ non attendance by chattering nurses, carelessness in recording food taken/refused/nil by mouth. Non-qualified staff ticking and initalling care charts, not even speaking to patient or visitors. I am due to be admitted for knee surgery in the very near future; I hope and pray I am not left to the neglect I have witnessed in the last three days. Until now I have always admired the nhs. Is it just blackburn?
