Although April House is brilliant and what they do, and have helped me more than anywhere else. I feel like once they have decided to let you go, it is an instant end, and there is nobody to talk to and I'm left alone again and slowly start going backwards.
Sometimes if you have another issue intertwined, it gets concentrated on which is good but the actual eating disorder is where I still need help. I feel completely alone and scared that I will go backwards and I have done so much to stop that happening, but you can't get access to anybody to talk to unless you come under there criteria.
I feel that the staff are supportive, helpful, and friendly, the hands on staff, I don't think that the people above them really get the person, or make assumptions, which sometimes if you worried or vulnerable, you just agree to.
There is only so much they can do at the end of the day, but I think the ending for people who have been in treatment for a long time, should be considered and understand that just a sudden stop can make you feel left, and make sure that wires don't get crossed so somebody says one thing and it ends before you are ready because of communication issues.
