My first visit to Central Middlesex Hospital. Sent by my G.P. For X-Ray. Waited less than ten minutes. After X-Ray asked to wait while the doctor looked at X-Ray. The doctor noticed something on film and asked the radiologist to take me to A&E. Booked in straight away saw the triage nurse within 15. Minutes. Saw the doctor within another twenty minutes. He talked me through the problem which was very reassuring. I had to wait another 30 minutes for the blood results. Blood o.k. The doctor explained he would be writing to my G.P. With the results and recommendations. I am 68 years old have had many visits to A&E over the years, but hand on heart this was the best experience I have ever had in an A&E department. I was then told that the unit was going to be moved to another hospital. I would like to thank all the staff and wish them well in their new site. .
"Pleasantly surprised"
