"My stay on ward 16 from 17th dec 13 to 2nd jan..."

About: Royal Preston Hospital

All I can say is a massive Thankyou for looking after me so we'll following my crush accicident at work on the 17th December 2013. All the nurses worked so well together and they couldn't do enough for me to keep me comfortable. I was on a lot of pain releif so needed it to be under control 24 hours a day, which may I say the nurses did brilliantly. I felt guilty having to call on the nurses to assist me because every single one was so busy from start to Finnish of there shifts and they never seemed to be away from the hospital working all the time. Whilst I was in the hospital there was 1 perticular nurse that went above and beyond, I was full of emotion from the shock of the accident and for such a young nurse she was just a natural, and she just had the answers to anything I needed. This is a nurse that really does and should receive a medal for everything she does. Please do advertise this, she deserves the recognition . Bubbly personality that was shown when it was appropriate . Massive Thankyou to all staff on ward 16 at royal Preston hospital. From Mark hopkinson

Thanks for your comments. Hearing about positive experiences really motivates our staff, and helps us identify where we’re getting things right so we can share good practice across all of our services
