"pancreatitis"

About: Leicester General Hospital

I was admitted to ward 28 after being taken ill at home with pancreatitis. Once I was on the ward I was treated with kindness and care by all of the very busy nursing staff. After a few days I was moved to the quieter surroundings of ward 23 to continue my recovery. During my stay I was referred for an ultrasound scan, x-ray and MRI so felt investigations were thorough. When you are ill and in pain it is easy to forget that you are not the only patient that the extremely busy staff have to deal with, but they dealt wonderfully under somewhat difficult circumstances and I can't thank them enough.
