Thank you, Roger, for taking the time to get in touch and let us know about your experience of our Ophthalmology Department. Ideally we would expect to see all new patients within eight weeks of them being referred to us by their GP so we are sorry if you have been waiting longer than this to see us. If your GP has referred you but you have not yet received an appointment please contact the Ophthalmology Department on 01384 456111 extension 3625 so we can find out why this might be the case. If you did not attend a previous appointment and did not give any advance warning that you were unable to attend it is likely that you will have been discharged back to your GP. If this is the case, your GP can re-refer you for treatment but you will need to book an appointment with your GP to do this.
