"Unprofessional staff lack credibility"

I found my stay at the Ladywell to have been one of the most degrading and humiliating of my life. The staff constantly got basic aspects of my care plan fundamentally wrong. I was denied my hypertension medication for almost a week which caused my blood pressure to skyrocket. I was given a medication against my wishes that made my kidneys produce an enzyme that had to be flushed out of me for a week. Despite telling the care team that I was not interested in taking any antipsychotic meds, a request that a doctor wrote into my care plan, these drugs were continually pushed on me. Who knows what harm the (un)professionals would have done to me if I hadn't won my appeal. Ladywell is more prison than hospital.
