"Parking"

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent

It is written on the machine in the car park, that one can topup the payment if you go over the time. In the waiting area a little information flyer states that there is a machine where you can pay by card, in the main area. after three and a half hours, it was time to leave. I went to the machine, a worker was "servicing it", he told me that the card facility was not working yet. When asked how I could pay, he didn't care, however the camera system was working. The prospect that I would pick up the massive fine, resulted in a shrug of the shoulders. I went to reception, they couldn't help. But did tell me I could put a comment in the box. I went to the box, found the comment cards, but there was nothing to write with. suitably unimpressed I just left. The whole prospect of guessing time in a hospital car park is stupid. the actual time I spent being examined was less than 1 hour. I prepaid for 3 hours, but I was in the building for 3 1/2 hours. I not do like your system, it used to be quite sensible to pick up a ticket on arrival and pay for the time in attendance on leaving. But I guess you've heard it all before........
