"A&E what a disorganised and uncaring welcome"

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

We came in at 11.30 pm due to my mothers pain in her heal and ankle , she was in tears so I called the 111 service and they advised that we go there asap. So when I got there I was seen by 3 reception staff who assessed where and how important our emergency was. All 3 asked nearly the same questions at 3 different windows, than after a short wait we were asked to go have my mothers Opps done to check what's was the matter with her , I explained why we had to come, the nurse asked us to wait in the front waiting area, than a reception staff called us to say the Dr has decided to send you to the majors waiting area as it would be quicker for them to see us, so we waited there got almost 2 hr until a nurse finally came to see us and took us into her office and asked us whts wrong and why you here, I explained that my mother was in real pain and could not rest her right foot as had a really painful heal , the nurse had a look on the computer and said it would take a long time before a Dr would see her, so he called one of the nurse in the front desk and said that my mother would be seen faster at the front urgent care centre , so sent us there, we than had a nurse ask all the questions about what was wrong with my mother she said it would be better to take some Paracetamol for the pain and wait for the Dr to call her, so we waited now fr another hr or so before he called us in at 3.30am to have a look at what was wrong, he than said that as my mother had diabetics for so long and was on a strong painkillers that there was nothing he could do ,after making us wait for over five hr that she should just take the painkillers and live with the pain, and sent us home. no other advice , just see your G.P
