All care before and after my knee replacement operation at the Newark hospital was excellent. Attention in aftercare by the physiotherapists was given with great care and understanding. Well done also to the night staff, who were always there to see that medication was given for pain relief. The hospital had a very friendly atmosphere - there were ladies who would visit and arrange flowers; a food trolley; and a book trolley, so that you could borrow a book.
