Response from Russells Hall Hospital

Thank you for taking the time to let us know your father’s experience our hospital. We are very disturbed to hear about your disappointment with the care your father received. We aim to offer all of our patients the highest standards of care possible. We are sorry that we fell short of those standards in caring for your father. We welcome all feedback and would like to assure you that all comments are taken seriously and acted upon as part of our ongoing commitment to improving patient experience. We would urge you to get in touch so that we can look into your concerns as to do this we would need to review your father’s case notes. We would appreciate it if you would meet with us to discuss what happened to. Please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on free phone 0800 073 0510. We appreciate that giving us feedback about such an upsetting time may have been hard for you. We are pleased that you were so impressed by our A&E Department but are concerned to hear about your father’s experience of B6, C4 and Urology. Thank you for your positive comments about our A&E staff. We will make sure this praise is passed on.
