"Poor communication at Nottingham City hospital"

I was not told what was wrong with me during my stay at the Nottingham City hospital. I had to deduce the problem when I visited my GP after my hospital stay.

I gave full details of my symptoms but these were not passed to more senior Doctors - poor communication. I was told that a scan had been arranged and my coil was to be removed. But I didn't know until discharge that these were to be done as an outpatient.

Better communication is required. Patients should be treated better and without them having to ask questions as to what is going on.
