I was a patient on ward 29 at the Barnsley District General hospital. I was most pleased that I was allocated a side room on my own, and so was given privacy and treated with respect.
However, the admission process was poor. I was left in pain for a considerable time.
Nevertheless, thanks in particular to a male nurse on ward 29 who was helpful and caring.
