I was a patient on Loxley ward at the Nottingham CIty hospital for treatment of cancer. The doctors and nurses were very caring and always made sure to keep me informed. Compassion and encouragement were abound in equal quantities. The nursing care was always professional but delivered with a smile and gentleness.
However, more nurses are required on the wards, especially for nights and weekends.
