Our journey started with a nasty fall at home suffered by my elderly Mum. The Paramedics who attended to her were great, reassured her and us, then got her to hospital in a very timely and safe manner. She was in Ambulance assessment when we caught up with her next being attended by two very professional members of staff. All the time they remained professional and reassuring to both my Mum and ourselves. Here she was transferred to B Bay where we met a staff nurse and an Aux's nurse with the biggest smile. They were both beautiful with my Mum and my gratitude goes to them personally. All the time they monitored her, explained things to us and kept a reassuring eye on her. At no time was anything too much trouble for them. They were truly outstanding. From here we were transferred to CDU where we became the charge of a Sister and two Staff nurses another Lady who was very lovely with Mum again and a Male Nurse who was eye candy for both my Mum and indeed me too.... Bless him. At all times we were updated by Sister, thus making my Mum feel even more special, she explained everything, arranged tests and made us as comfortable as possible. Even extended a hot cup of tea which was very welcome. I would like to extend my gratitude for helping all of us in our hour of need. The humility and care you showed to my Mum and the constant continuing ability to translate to my Mum she was not any trouble, in fact she was quite precious. Thank you to all the above members of a outstanding team.
