"A very poor hospital - steer clear!"

About: Kings Oak Hospital

Where to begin, room poor and had a smell of drains (yes they told me they had a problem!) - nothing seemed prepared, no towels in the room and we were told on admission that we had to provide our own shampoo and shower jell and this is a private hospital - never heard that before. The nurses are really nice but do not always seem to work well together in as much as passing on information from one to the other, although some are just lovely, kind and helpful. Food not great although the girls brining the food were always nice and tried hard. Did not feel we knew what was going on, but that could also be down to he specialist. Unfortunately been in hospital many times and have never ever had such a bad, disorganised experience. It seemed it was up to us to ask for the treatment that was required. Really not nice.

Thank you for your feedback, which we take very seriously. Please could you contact Karen Jones, PA to the Executive Director at the hospital. The Executive Director is keen to speak with you about your experience at the hospital. With kind regards BMI Healthcare.
