"Emergency visit"

I was advised by an optician to go straight to an A & E unit. I arrived at 0950 and was triaged quickly by a very helpful nurse. Drops were added to my eyes which required a short wait before I was then seen by a consultant and her student. Both were really helpful, informative and thorough. Aftercare leafelts were given as well as a letter to update my GP. I cannot praise the service highly enough. Anything to do with eyesight is so vital and I felt hugely reassured by the examination and information provided. Well done and thank you!
