"AMU excellent care"

All one ever hears is "Oh not the Royal " ... I only have nothing but praise for the good old Royal !! My 83yr old Mother had to attend the AMU dept ,with severe dehydration , she was quickly triaged , and from that moment on was treated with the utmost care , respect and skill . She was not left sitting in a corridor , she was offered drinks , blankets , anything to make her more comfortable , all at a time , when the unit was extremely busy .Once medically stabilised my mother was then transferred to a ward ,where again she received excellent care over the next few days , Not enough people hear of all the excellent care and hard work that happens in these overstretched depts. on a day to day basis. Thankyou
